Standing Strong

A wall can represent two things simultaneously,
1. It keeps people out
2. It keeps people in
consequently depending on where you are at (outside or inside the wall) and where you want to be (inside or outside the wall) it becomes a hindrance or a protective shield.
Emotional walls are the same, depending on where you are at in your life’s journey,
your “wall” can become a hindrance or a fortress.

When your walls become hindrances – keeping you in, it’s time to break them down,
while using those very bricks to fortify and build higher the walls that were erected to defend and protect – self,
because without those walls you are left defenseless, vulnerable to all the elements of the seasons you go through in your life’s journey.
Hence, these walls are essential to your well-being.

Keep in mind,
some walls that are now meant to be broken down are sometimes the very walls that were once erected to protect,
because walls don’t always stay as a true representative of the original intent of its predecessors. They get corrupted, sometimes eroded and as a result they develop holes and so are no longer effective in protecting.
And too, there comes a time when you just outgrow the need for that wall,
while at other times it becomes the very foundation for the other walls as you grow stronger emotionally.
In fact, they become stepping stones for you to climb higher in your journey’s walk.
So here are some quotes on standing strong that you will find in the gallery titled, “Standing Strong Quotes”. I have also included “It’s All About You Quotes” and “It’s All About Them Quotes” as well, because for anyone to become strong and stay strong, that individual must first know about who "they" are and what "they" want to be and also know who "they" are not and don't want to be.
Hope these quotes help to fortify your walls creating a stronger fortress that protects and shields you from harm imagined or real.
