Words of Wisdom
December 1, 2018

I got up one morning in May,
thinking of this word wisdom and found myself remembering how many times it had seemed to have evaded me at crucial times in my life.
As you may have guessed, yes, there have been many times in my life when looking back;
I’ve thought,
maybe I should have been wiser in the choices I have made in my life so far, maybe if I had, I wouldn’t be going through this crap right now,
maybe my life would be far better than this if I had been wiser.
At times like those, my mother who insists that she isn’t a Christian and isn’t, would quote proverbs to me from the Bible.

After all, they were written by the wisest man who walked on earth and so it wouldn’t hurt to learn from him, I’m quoting her here, she has often reminded.
So that morning when I got up thinking about wisdom, I came to the conclusion that, you know, you can never be too wise, there is always room for more wisdom.
To start with,
I decided to go to the “ancient” book of wisdom (the Bible) for it was the easiest book to find on wisdom in my house and my mother’s voice was ringing in my head and too those who are Christians have attested to it.
They say knowledge is power and to gain wisdom you first must know so there I went...learning.
I have discovered that the more knowledgeable you are about a given situation, is the better equipped you are to come up with wiser solutions.

You make better decisions when you know more. (Sometimes)
So here are some tidbits of information I found on wisdom that I think will help those of us who have felt foolish most of our lives “in retrospect” and for those who know being wise - becoming wise is an ongoing process.
As you will see most of the images in the gallery on site are really Words of Wisdom (wow) quotes.
Seeing that we are speaking about wisdom, the Bible quotes that were done years ago are also included.
So browse through those at your leisure.
